No. Everything — photographs, stories, narration — downloads before you set off. Only purchases and print orders need a connection.
Can I split the walk?
Yes. Your progress saves as you go, so you can walk it over several days.

What if a stop won’t unlock?
GPS drifts near tall buildings. Every stop has a manual “I’m here” unlock, so you’re never stuck.
